Garage Floor in Prospect, KY
This two-car garage floor had several large cracks running across the concrete that required extensive repair before the new flooring system could be installed.
We began by mechanically diamond grinding the entire floor to expose and properly profile the concrete. The larger cracks were opened and prepared, then stapled across multiple points and filled with high-performance repair material to reinforce the damaged areas and create a more stable surface. Additional cracks and imperfections throughout the garage were repaired before receiving a final grind to blend everything together.
Once the concrete preparation and repairs were complete, we installed our three-layer polyaspartic flake flooring system:
- Polyaspartic Tinted Base Coat – Provides excellent adhesion, durability, and a strong foundation for the flooring system.
- Vinyl Flake Broadcast – Provides full coverage, texture, and a consistent appearance across the repaired floor.
- Polyaspartic Clear Topcoat – Seals and protects the system against vehicle traffic, abrasion, chemicals, stains, and everyday wear.
The result was a complete transformation from heavily cracked concrete to a clean, seamless, and durable two-car garage floor.
This project highlights an important part of our process: we don’t simply fill cracks and cover them up. When a floor requires additional reinforcement and repair, we take the necessary steps to properly prepare the concrete before installing the coating system.
